Marilyn J. Walsh, 77, of Ottawa, died Tuesday, June 17, at her home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa with the Rev. Ronald Dodd officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 4 p.m. She was born Jan. 13, 1931, in Ottawa, to William and Elizabeth (Bayer) Wilson. She married Thomas Walsh on Oct. 19, 1963, in Ottawa. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa. Survivors include her husband, Thomas "Bud" Walsh; four daughters, LouAnne (Bob) Carretto and Nancy (Jon) Lowe, both of Ottawa, Kathy (Jim) O'Gara of Glenview and Tracy (Dan) Bedeker of Seneca; four sons, Don (JoAnn), Roger and Terry (Roxanne) Jones, all of Ottawa, and John (Amy) Walsh of Earlville; 18 grandchildren, Gabriel, Abraham and Butch Carretto, Rachel Green, Rebecca Jones, Sarah Alaimo, Nathan Dilley, Ashley Lowe, Elizabeth, Glenn and Megan Jones, Andrew and Olivia Walsh, Jimmy, Sean and Thomas O'Gara and Emma and Max Bedeker; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Glenn Jones; a sister, Betty Sheedy; and two brothers, William and John Wilson. Pallbearers will be Gabriel, Abraham and Robert Carretto Jr., Nathan Dilley, Sarah Jones Alaimo, Glenn Jones, Andrew Walsh and Jimmy O'Gara.
