Marilyn A. Kuhn

Marilyn A. Kuhn, 84, of Ottawa passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 at Pleasant View Luther Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa, with Rev. Tony Fevlo officiating. Visitation will be from 9 - 12:30 on Wednesday, prior to the services, at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Marilyn was born November 20, 1932 in Ottawa to John and Lucille (Nevin) O'Neil. She married John A. Kuhn on January 3, 1953 in Santa Ana, California; he passed away February 5, 1998. Marilyn retired from Snap-On Tools and loved volunteering at LaSalle County Nursing Home and Pleasant View. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Altar & Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of America, American Legion Auxiliary, AARP, Century Club Marquette High School. She is survived by one daughter, Chris (Tom) Miller; one son, Steve (Shelly) Kuhn; two sisters, Jean (Tadge) Jagelski and Joan (Eugene) Kunkel; one daughter-in-law, Gay Ann Kuhn and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Martin Kuhn; and one sister, Marge Griglione.. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick's Church or Marquette Academy.
