Marie A. Lopez, 62, of Joliet, died Monday, October 10, 2011 at her home. Funeral Service for Marie will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the Ottawa Funeral Home. Visitation will be 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Marie was born March 11, 1949 in Ottawa, Illinois to Everett and Pauline (Page) Smith. She is survived by one daughter, Maria (Hector) Macias of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; two sons, Brian of Ottawa and James (Amy) of Colorado; five grandchildren; one sister, Carol (Wilson) Crawford of Streator; and one brother, Dale Smith of Ottawa. She is preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers will be Brian Lopez, Jeff Beldon, Tom Higgins, Frank Bray, Chuck Bray, and Ramon Hernandez. Memorials may be directed to the family.
