Marie Connors

Marie A. Connors, 87, of Ottawa, died January 8, 2008 at Community Hospital of Ottawa. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Friday January 11 at St. Francis of Assisi Church with the Rev. Gerald Meyer officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 - 7 PM with prayers at 4:00 PM at Ottawa Funeral Home. Mrs. Connors was born September 30, 1920 in Ottawa to Frank and Emma (Schomas) Besenhard. She married Thomas W. Connors on December 27, 1941 at St. Francis of Assisi Church. He died May 8, 1965. Marie was a cook and waitress in local restaurants for many years. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She is survived by one daughter Cynthia Connors of Ottawa; seven grandchildren Thomas, James, Amy and Sara Conner of Ottawa, Tracy (Bernie) Condron of Ottawa and Dawn and Donna Eichelkraut of Ottawa; four great-grandchildren Michael and Kaitlyn Condron, Cory Conner and MaKenzie Eichelkraut and one brother Francis Besenhard of Ottawa. She was preceded in death by two daughters Mary Eichelkraut and Theresa and her husband Butch Conner and one granddaughter Laurie Marie Conner. Pallbearers will be Thomas, James, Fred and Cory Conner, Bernie and Michael Condron and Bob Reese. Memorials may be directed to the family.
