Marguerite Jordan

Marguerite Jordan, 81, of Seneca, IL, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Ottawa. A Memorial visitation will be held 5:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, May 19, 2014 at Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home in Seneca. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Pleasant View Nursing Home. Marguerite was born January 25, 1933 in Seneca, Illinois James and Anna (Jurkanin) Anderson. She married Robert Jordan on December 1, 1956 in First United Methodist Church of Seneca; he passed away December 20, 2001. Marge enjoyed making crafts to give to everyone. She loved to work in her yard, Blue Grass music every Saturday night, NASCAR, as well as the occasional trip to the casino. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. In the past she belonged to a bowling league in Morris. She is survived by two sons, Robert Jordan of Morris and James (Irene) Jordan of Channahon; two grandchildren, Nickolas Jordan and Alexis Jordan both of Channahon; four siblings, James Anderson of Ottawa, Mary Ann (Robert) Bishop of York Town, Virginia, Richard Anderson of Seneca, and William Anderson of Seneca. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jordan; one sister, Lucille Schaefer; and her daughter in law, Kim Jordan. Memorials may be directed to family.
