Margaret Morrisey

Margaret "Marge" M. Morrisey, 89, of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Ottawa Pavilion.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Ottawa Funeral Home, with prayers at 3:45. Burial will be private.

Marge was born on March 31, 1926 in Ottawa, Illinois to Frank J. and Elizabeth (Harrington) Busch. She married Thomas C. Morrisey in 1958 in St. Patrick's Church in Ottawa; he passed away in August of 1977.

Marge worked at the Daily Times and retired from Handy Foods after many years. She was a member of the Moose, Altar Rosary, and St. Patrick's Church.

She is survived by two sons, Thomas J. (Nancy) Morrisey, and Timothy B. Morrisey; and six grandchildren, Chris, Mike, Maggie, Mollie, Nikolai, and Max.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister Isabel M. Kennell.
