Marcie E. Nichols, 31, of Ottawa died August 16, 2009. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 1:00 Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Marcie was born November 8, 1977 in Peru, Illinois to Alan and Valerie (Sampson) Watland. She is survived by her mother, Valerie Martin; six children, Michelle, Dylan, Benjamin, Brianna, Cailey, and Alexis; grandparents, Kenneth (Carol) Sampson of Bloomington; one sister, Allison Watland of Tonica; one brother, Jeremy Watland of Tonica; one half sister, Cherry Watland of Wisconsin. She is preceded in death by her father, Alan Watland; grandparents, Eileen and Walter Watland, and Barbara Carrico. Pallbearers will be Carl Sluder, Jim Carrico, Nick Carrico, Jason Carrico, Joel Smith, and Jordan Smith. Memorials may be directed to the family.
