Marcia Lynn Rogers

Marcia Lynn Rogers (Fish), 79, of Ottawa, IL, passed away on November 23, 2024, at Pleasant View Lutheran Home.

The interment will be private at Stavanger Cemetery and a memorial service will take place at a later date.

Marcia was born August 26, 1945, in Seneca, IL, to Rex and Edith (Larsen) Fish. She married Donald Rogers on 9/21/1968 in Seneca, Illinois. Donald passed away on June 10, 2023.

Marcia graduated from Seneca High School & attended Illinois Wesleyan University and the University of Illinois. Marcia had a degree in library science. She was a librarian employee at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library where she retired from. She was a former member of Christ Lutheran Church in Palatine, IL.

She is survived by; Brother, Lawrence (JoEllen) Fish, Sister; Pamela Lyon, Sister-In-Law; Karen Fish, Dear Cousin; Connie Gemeny, Nieces, Nephews, Grandnieces, & Grandnephews.

Marcia was preceded in death by; her parents, Brother; Thomas R. Fish & a sister in infancy.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Pleasant View Lutheran Nursing Home and Hearthstone for their care & compassion.
