Marcia Crouch

Marcia A. Crouch, 78, of Ottawa, Illinois died Friday, May 4, 2012 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa. Funeral Services for Marcia will be at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Peter Brick of the First Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at the Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later time at De Bolt Cemetery, Wedron, Illinois. Marcia was born on June 1, 1933 at Forrest, Illinois to Elmer and Aulta (Kiest) Garrison. She married Kent Irving Crouch on February 19, 1955. He died December 25, 2011. Marcia was a truly devoted mother and grandmother. She spent each day surrounded by her loving family while fighting a near forty year battle with multiple sclerosis. She was an inspiration not only to her family, but to all of the dedicated wonderful people that cared for her. Her faith and amazing will to survive and flourish touched many hearts and souls. Marcia was a dedicated wife for over 56 years to her husband Kent who preceded her in death in December of 2011. In earlier years they enjoyed traveling with a close group of friends attending antique car shows, boating, flying their private plane, and riding motorcycles throughout the US and Canada. She is survived by her three daughters; Debra (Roger) Wieland of Wedron, Natalie McClusky of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Rose Marie (Michael) Reynolds of Ottawa; six grandchildren, Jackie (Jason) Donahue, Angie (Tim Harmon) Lee, Roger (Madeline) Wieland, Justin Wieland, Alex Reynolds, Nikki (Curt) McFadden; six great grandchildren, Addison, Zaya, Rylie, Rylee, Ava, and Preslee; six sisters, Ruth Clippinger, Zella Garrison, Carol (Larry) Cain, Judith (Robert) McClennan, Nancy (Junior) Price, and Cherilyn Wujek; and two brothers, Elmer (Marolyn) Garrison and Russell (Delores) Garrison She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three brothers, Verneal, Robert, and Merle Garrison; and one sister, Marilyn Barth.
