Marcella Ann (Stoudt) Buckley, 96, of Ottawa, passed away on June 10, 2025 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa

Mass of Christian Burial for the repose of her soul will be celebrated on Monday, June 16, at 10:30am at St. Columba Church. Burial will be private.

Marcella was born October 21, 1928, in Ottawa, to George and Delia (Kerrigan) Stoudt. She attended St. Patrick School and St. Xavier Academy. She married William Buckley on June 16, 1951 at St. Columba Church. She worked for many years at Mason's/Value City department store. She was a lifelong member of St. Columba Church, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, and St. Columba Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara (Dennis) Damron and Mary (Glenn) Mann, both of Ottawa; three sons, William, David (Suzy), and Ronald (Kathy) all of Ottawa; five grandchildren, Rachel and Becky Callaway, Megan Buckley, and Ryan and Evan Mann; several great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her sister, Mary Dilley; her brothers, George, William, Thomas, Lawrence, and John; and a daughter, Karen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Columba Building Fund or Marquette Academy.
