Mae Foehringer

Mae (Jackson) Foehringer, 92, of Seneca died Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Rivershores Nursing Center in Marseilles. Funeral services will be 11:00AM, Monday, July 12 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Seneca with Pastor Kris Zierke officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Monday at the church. She will be buried in Mount Hope Cemetery in Seneca. Mae was born July 4, 1918 in Seneca to Harl and Pearl (Virgo) Jackson. She married Edward Foehringer Jr. on March 11, 1939 in Seneca at the Methodist Church. He died May 11, 1988. She is survived by her two grandchildren, Cindy (Paul) Maierhofer and Bill (Kim) Foehringer both of Seneca; four great-grandchildren, Megan and Mackenzie Maierhofer, Nic and Colbie Foehringer; one sister, Eileen Pennebaker of Peoria, AZ; sister-in-law and brother -in-law, Lucille and George Dennis of Seneca; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Judith; two sons, Wayne and Richard; and one sister Evelyn. Pallbearers will be Paul Maierhofer, Bill Foehringer, Brent Mitchell, and Michael Gorham. Honorary pallbearers will be Megan, and Mackenzie Maierhofer, Colbie and Nic Foehringer. Memorials may be donated to Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Rivershores Nursing Center, or Passage Hospice.
