Madeline Baxter

Madeline L. Baxter, 85, of Ravlin Congregate in Ottawa, IL, died, Friday, August 14, 2009 at Ottawa Pavilion. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Monday, August 17, 2009 at St. Patrick's Church with the Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 - 6 pm, Sunday, August 16 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Madeline Baxter was born May 7, 1924, in Ottawa, IL., to Frank H. and Olive M. (Corrigan) Redlich. She married Wiley Baxter on January 23, 1945 at St. Patrick's Church. He Died March 12, 1998. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and Women of the Moose. She is survived by one son Lawrence (Diane) Baxter of Ottawa; three grandsons, David (Peggy) of Ottawa, Mark (Stephanie) of Algonquin, and Paul of Ottawa, IL.; three great-grandchildren, Zander, Garret, and Alexa Baxter. She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Eileen Baxter; one brother, Clifford Redlich; one sister, Dorothy McBride. Pallbearers will be grandsons, David, Mark, and Paul Baxter; nephews, Randy and Jamie Baxter; great-nephew, James Baxter. Memorials may be directed to Ravlin Congregate Resident Fund.
