Lynn Laatz

Lynn Laatz, 60, of Grand Ridge passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at her home. Funeral service for Lynn will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 prior to services on Monday, July 2, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Lynn was born October 4, 1951 in Wheaton, Illinois to Robert and Evelyn (Keeney) Jackson. She married Ronald Laatz February 6, 1982 at Epworth United Methodist Church in Ottawa. She owned and operated Jackson Water Care for thirty-five years. She is survived by her husband, Ronald; her mother, Evelyn Jackson; one son, Nathan Laatz of Peoria; one daughter, Sonya (Shane Butler) Laatz of Marseilles; one granddaughter, Alivia Butler; two brothers, Tom of Colorado and Jay (Sue) Jackson of Ottawa; and two sisters, Sharon Valdez of Ottawa and Leann McDonald of Wenona. She is preceded in death by her father. Memorials may be directed to donors' choice.
