Lydelle M Bentz

Lydelle M. Bentz, 79, of Seneca passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Morris Hospital. Funeral Service for Lydelle will be held 10:00 am Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with Pastor Kris Zierke officiating. Visitation will 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, January 26, 2018 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Seneca. Burial will be in Stavanger Cemetery with Pastor Phil Peterson officiating. Lydelle was born May 17, 1938 in Sheboygan, WI to Lloyd and Martha (Anderson) Bentz. She retired from teaching in 1995, after 34 years of teaching in the Wheaton Warrenville school system. She had a Bachelors Degree from Luther College and a Masters Degree from University of North Colorado. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Delta Theta Tau, Home Extension, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by three nephews, Mark (Karen), Lloyd (Emily), and Matthew (Colleen); five great nephews, Peter (Logan), Aaron (Mariah), Andrew, Caleb (Dana), and Ethan; two great nieces, Sarah and Kayla; one great-great nephew, Everett; and one great-great niece, Rosalind. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Joseph and Richard; two aunts, Alma and Bertha Anderson; and one nephew, Wayne. Memorials may be directed to Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Seneca Library, or Stavanger Cemetery.
