Luke W. Penfield

Luke W. Penfield, 25, of Ottawa passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019.

Funeral Services will be held at 6 pm, Monday, August 19 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 pm, prior to services, at the funeral home.

Luke was born June 1, 1994, in Ottawa to Adam Penfield and Debra (Wallace). Luke worked as a pipe fitter for Local 597. Luke was always goofing off, always had a funny comeback, and was always the first one to call you out. He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, and snowboarding. He was an all-around Chicago sports fan. Luke was the good kid of the family three years running. He was a good time Charley with a Harley who loved making people laugh and had the biggest heart. "Ohana means family, and family means everything."

He is survived by his parents, Debra (Jeff) Mackiewicz and Adam Penfield; his twin sister, Kendall (Daniel Wawerski); his brothers, Jeremy (Jessica Kahler) Penfield and Jordan Mackiewicz; two nieces, Evelyn Grace and Stella Marie; and his grandparents, Dave (Jean) Wallace and Sally (Bill) Penfield; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his cousin, Chris.
