Lucille V. Cunningham

Lucille V. "Lucy" (Biffany) Cunningham, 70, of Ottawa passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 4pm, Wednesday, September 19 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Pastors Ron Johnson and Jeremy Wiesbrock officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm, prior to the services, at the funeral home. Lucy was born February 19, 1948 in Ottawa to Charles and Mary (Vallero) Biffany. She married Robert A. Cunningham on August 18, 1980 in Ottawa; he passed away January 17, 2017. Lucy loved cooking, gardening, and crocheting. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Lucy loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Ottawa. She is survived by two children, Mary (Michael) McCullough-Faillo of Villa Park and Todd (Rhonda) Cunningham of Jackson, MO; seven grandchildren, Anthony, Francesca, Vivianna, Dylan, Bryce, Jayce, and Treyce; two sisters, Mary Wright of Ottawa and Rosie (Tom) Varney of Utica; two sisters-in-law, Marge Biffany and Kay Biffany; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and four brothers, John, Julian, Felix, and Gino Biffany; and five sisters, Catherine Johnson, Lucille Biffany, Anna Cilla, Josephine Botkins, and Dina Whitney. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews, John Biffany, Victor Biffany, Charlie Biffany, Cary Wright, Nick Wallace, and Randy Biffany. Memorials may be directed to the family.
