Louise Ryan

Clara Louise Ryan, 91, of Seneca passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Rivershores in Marseilles. Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Seneca with Rev. Kris Zierke officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 - 11:00 Saturday, March 5, 2011 one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Seneca. Louise was born May 15, 1919 in Morris, Illinois to John T. and Clara (Eick) Anderson. She graduated from Marseilles High School. She retired in 1997 after thirty years of service as a secretary at Seneca High School. She married John J. Ryan May 19, 1956 in St. Patrick's Church Rectory. He died December 28, 1987. She lived in Seneca and was active in Delta Theta Tau sorority The Lions Club, American Legion Kasal Post 457 Auxiliary, and served as the editor of the Sons of Norway. She is survived by her nieces Jamee Carletto of Santa Rosa, CA., Trudy Anderson of New Lenox, IL., and Nancy Anderson of Greenville, TX.; nephews, Gary Werner of Greenville, TX., Bruce Anderson of Wheaton, IL., and Donald Ryan of CA. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Ryan; a sister, Elaine Coffman; a brother, John L. Anderson; a niece, Maureen Caputo; a nephew, David Coffman; great niece, Jennifer Capuano; and great nephew Brian Carletto. Pallbearers will be Gary Werner, Jeff, Eric, Mark, and Bruce Anderson. Memorials may be directed to Rosemary Sheedy scholarship fund.
