Louise Gaughan

Louise K. Gaughan, 65, of LaSalle, Il, died Tuesday June 16, 2009, at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in LaSalle. Graveside services will be at 3:00 pm Monday June 22, at St. Columba Cemetery with the Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Ottawa Funeral Home oversaw the cremation. Louise was born September 29, 1943, in Oglesby, Il, to John and Laura (Labens) McLaughlin. She is survived by two sons, Richard "Rickey" Jr. (Jill) of LaSalle and Mike (Falena) of Utica; two daughters, Yvonne Gaughan of LaSalle and Susan (Brian) Taylor of LaSalle; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three sisters, Joan (Walter) Kofoid of Marseilles, Marjorie (Patrick) Kelly of Utica, and Lorraine (Kenneth) Kasza of LaSalle; three brothers, Tom "Ed" (Carol) McLaughlin of Bemidji, Minnesota, Mark (Mary) McLaughlin of Oglesby, and Wesley McLaughlin of Troy Grove; her former husband, Richard Gaughan Sr. of Winterhaven, FL and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Renee; one grandson, Timothy Faull; one sister, Patricia Drennen; three brothers, Eugene, John, and James McLaughlin; and three brothers in infancy. Memorials may be directed to the family.
