Lorraine McNeil, 69, of Ottawa, IL, died, Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in a car accident in rural Marseilles. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Peter Brick officiating. Visitation will be from 4 - 7 pm, Monday, April 25 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Lorraine McNeil was born, April 16, 1942, in Chicago, IL, to George and Ellen (Gustafson) Cobb. She married John "Jack" McNeil on January 10, 1981. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband John "Jack" McNeil of Ottawa, one son Michael (Dawn) Engel of Aurora, IL, five grandchildren Jake and Brandon Engel, Amber, Ashley and Tyler Dettore, two sisters, Jody (Mike) Skimerhorn of Warrenville, IL and Karen Preston of Phoenix, AZ and one brother George (Susan) Cobb of Downers Grove, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Liana Pipkin and her daughter Kathleen Wilcox. Pallbearers will be Michael & Jake Engel, George Cobb. Memorials may be directed to the family.
