Lorraine J. Bruno

Lorraine J. Bruno, 72, of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at her home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. Philip Halfacre officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Lorraine was born March 19, 1938 in Chicago, IL to Stanley and Josephine (Stajszczak) Matuszak. She married Donald Bruno October 27, 1956 at Immaculate Conception in Chicago, IL. She was a member of the Starved Rock Yacht Club. She is survived by her husband, Donald; two daughters, Gina (Mike) Montgomery and Donna (Steve) Burke both of Ottawa; one son, Steve Bruno of Ottawa; seven grandchildren, Lisa (Dan) Wolowicz of Tinley Park, IL, Laura Montgomery of Ottawa, Michael (Amber) Burke of Ottawa, Melanie Burke of Ottawa, Marissa (Mike) Meyer of Orland Park, IL, Samantha Bruno of Ottawa, and Katie Bruno of Ottawa; and four great grandchildren. Lorraine is preceded on death by her parents. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
