Loretta A. (Wagner) Roux

Loretta A. Roux, 86, of Ottawa passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at Ottawa Pavilion.

Private family services will be held. Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.

Loretta was born October 31, 1934, in Sandwich to Louis and Berdeane (Anderson) Wagner . She married Charles Roux on January 12, 1957 in Plano, and together they spent 64 wonderful years. Loretta worked as a registered nurse at the Ottawa Medical Center and then for Pleasant View Lutheran Home for more than 25 years before retiring. She was a devoted volunteer for Reruns, and she enjoyed sewing and playing BINGO. Loretta loved taking trips to Wisconsin during the summers. She was a caring wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charlie; her son, Bob (Maureen) Roux of Weston, WI; her grandson, Alec; brother, John (Kathy) Wagner of Sandwich; and her sister, Mary Brendel of San Diego, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
