Lonnie Isabel

Lonnie Isabel, 83, of Sheridan, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will take place in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Virgil, IL at a later date.

Lonnie was born August 16, 1939, in Ramsey, IL to Bonnie and Betty Isabel. He married Elsie Butt on October 2, 1971. She passed away September 28, 2005.

Lonnie worked for over 30 years at Aurora Pump prior to his retirement. He loved to spend time with Elsie and they could frequently be found out to dinner together. He loved to fish and was excited to fly his new drone.

He is survived by his daughter, Pennie (Keith) Berglund; his son, Jeffrey Isabel; his step son, Dan (Annette) Butt; his five grandchildren, Steven, Kariann, Justin, Jake, and Dylin; and his great granddaughter, Grace. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
