Lois C. Lenac

Lois C. Lenac, 83, of Ottawa passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 at LaSalle County Nursing Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Thursday, June 23, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Church in Ottawa, with Rev. Tony Fevlo officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 - 10:30 Thursday prior to services at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Lois was born March 26, 1933, in LaSalle, Illinois, to Ralph and Catherine (Kieras) Bain. She married John C. Lenac Sr. on November 28, 1952; he passed away June 20, 2004. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church. She is survived by one son, John (Betty Weishaar) Lenac, Jr. of Ottawa; one daughter, Gail (John) Carlson of rural Marseilles; two grandchildren, Michael Carlson and Christy (Alfred) Gray; and five great grandchildren, Mikayla, Thomas, and Trevor Carlson, Brynn and Alexander Gray. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Ralph Jr., Daniel, Gerald, and Dennis Bain; and three sisters, Joan Fogarty, Juanita Morrison, and Nancy Schultheis. Pallbearers will be Christy Gray, Michael Carlson, Steve Lenac, and Remzi Banushi. Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick's Church, LaSalle County Nursing Home - Resident Fund, or to the family.
