Lois Bruns

Lois H. Bruns, 88, of Ottawa, passed away on June 4, 2022, at The Ottawa Pavilion Skilled Nursing Home.

Lois was born June 19, 1933 to Fred and Helen Schlegel in River Grove, IL.

She married Donald A. Bruns on March 1, 1952 in Chicago, IL.

Surviving are their 7 children, Michael (Karol) Bruns of Bensenville, IL, Dennis (Marilyn) Bruns of Buffalo Grove, IL, Roberta Parrish of Phoenix, AZ, Gloria (Charley) Chambers of Chunky, MS, John (Debra) Bruns of Montgomery, IL, Paul Bruns of Rolling Meadows, IL, and Ruth Snelting of Oglesby, IL; as well as 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Lois will be laid to rest with her husband, Donald (Deceased July 7, 1999), in Montrose cemetery, Chicago, IL in September of 2022.
