Linda L. Miskell

Linda L. Miskell, 68 of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2012 at her home surrounded by family. Funeral Service for Linda will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Visitation will be 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be at Harding Cemetery. Linda was born September 13, 1943 in Sandwich, Illinois to Leroy and Lois (Malaise) Spradling. She married Donald Miskell on June 24, 1961 in Ottawa. She worked at AT & T and later worked at B&B Electronics until she retired. She enjoyed car shows and her '54 Sunvalley Mercury, crafts, sewing, and most of all she loved being with family and friends and her Pomeranians, Molly and Angel. She is survived by her husband, Don; her mother, Lois Spradling, of Ottawa; two daughters, Brigett (Kevin) Meely and Tracy Anderson, both of Ottawa; seven grandchildren, Tina Dobson, Krystal Antolik, Deanna Michie, Bobbi Jo Edwards, Morgan Denton, Dulton Steele, and Dawson Steele; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Randy (Debra) Spradling of Seneca. She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Spradling; niece, Lori (Spradling) Schiffgens; and a son-in-law, Dean Anderson, Jr. Pallbearers will be Kevin Meely, Dulton Steele, Eddie Dobson, Dan Antolik, Ken Cutler, Jim Miskell, Jr., with honorary pallbearer Dawson Steele. Memorials may be directed to the family.
