Linda P. Dixon

Linda P. Dixon, 73, of Ottawa, Illinois passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Rivershores Nursing Home in Marseilles.

Visitation will be held 4:00 - 5:00 Friday, March 31, 2017 at the Lions Club, 501 Bellevue Ave, Ottawa. A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 Friday at the Lions Club. Ottawa Funeral Home has been entrusted with her cremation.

Linda was born April 2, 1943 in Glenwood, Missouri to Jesse and Verl (Pickens) Johnson. She married John Dixon on September 30, 1985. She retired in 1995 from Walmart. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, John; seven children, John Logsdon (Margaret Sly), John (Karla) Dixon, Theresa (Marvin) Huggins, Allen Logsdon (Marilyn Tucker), Susan McCormick (Dennis Hancock), Dan Logsdon (Carol Sylvester), Michele (Howard) Pizur; her grandchildren, Matthew, Raymond, Jessica, Rob, Travis, Meriah, Sabrina, BreAnne, Haley, Josh, Chris, Kortney, and Nicole; and great-grandchildren, Julianna, Sophia, Brentley, Abigail, Brady, and Kinley.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Brenda Dixon Sisson; her son-in-law, Brian Sisson; her grandson, Nolan Roman; her brother-in-law, Dale Burbaker; and three siblings, Patty Johnson, Virginia Burbaker, and Jesse Johnson.
