Lillian G. Fricke

Lillian G. Fricke, 82, of Seneca, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at her home.

Honoring Lill's wishes, no funeral services will be held. Osborne Nelson Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Lill was born May 21, 1939, in Waukegan, IL to Robert and Gertrude (Kapper) Geltz. She married Robert "Jim" Fricke on December 21, 1973. He passed away March 7, 2015.

In 1979, Lill passed her paramedic's exam and was the only female paramedic in Seneca at the time. She retired after a 20+ year career from the Seneca Ambulance. Lill also worked for many years for the Seneca Police Department as a dispatcher. In her free time, she loved to watch her favorite game shows.

Lill is survived by her seven children, Deborah Reding, David, Deanna, Danette, and Daniel Borowicz, Darlene (Ron) Larabee, and Jim Fricke; her thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren plus one on the way; and her brother, Marion Geltz.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 42 years; her brothers, Robert and Marshall Geltz; and her sister, Darlene Brucher.
