Leola Marie Orres, 84, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Pleasant View. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Ottawa Funeral Home with the Rev. John Nordstrom officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, November 13, 2009 at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park. Leola Orres was born, November 30, 1924, in Ottawa, Illinois to John Lena (Krug) Peterson. She married Marvin O. Orres on September 9, 1950 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ottawa; he died July 2, 2003. She was a member of Christ Community Church and AARP. She is survived by two daughters, Diane (Joe) Bandza of New Lenox, Il., and Carol (Mark) Booth of Worth IL.; two grandchildren, Michael (Andrea) and Kristy Bandza; one great grandson, Brandon Bandza. She was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Bailey; and two brothers, Clair and Lloyd Peterson. Memorials may be directed to Christ Community Church or Pleasant View.
