Lena M. Mccormick

Lena McCormick, 85, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Pleasant View. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Monday, November 10, 2014 at St. Mary's Church in Naplate with Rev. Augustin Kassa officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 am one hour prior to services on Monday, November 10, 2014 at St. Mary's Church. She will be buried in St. Columba Cemetery. Ottawa Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with her arrangements. Lena was born January 25, 1929 in Naplate, Illinois to Lorenzo and Caroline (Galli) Dinelli. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Altar and Rosary Society, and the Angel Squad. Lena took great pride in making ravioli out of her home that she sold to local restaurants. She is survived by one son, Gary (Diane) McCormick; one granddaughter, Katherine McCormick; and special nieces and nephews, including, Mary Ellen Cantell, Michael Alberti, Nancy Legner, and Peter Verdun. She is preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Jean Alberti and Enis Verdun. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary Church.
