Lee Ann Mclennan

Lee Ann McLennan, 54, of Sheridan passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held at 7pm, Thursday, January 19 at Ottawa Funeral Home, with Pastor Tami Perryman of the Community of Christ in Marseilles. Visitation will be from 4 - 7pm, prior to the services, at the funeral home.

Lee was born May 21, 1962, in Ottawa to Eugene and Nancy (Barry) Woods. She married Jon McLennan March 21, 1981 at the Community of Christ in Marseilles.

She graduated from Serena High School in 1980 and worked for the Serena Community 2 District for 13 years. Lee received her degree in Massage Therapy from Rasmussen College, graduating in 2010. She was an independent Massage Therapist, with a home-based business. Lee and her husband drove cross-county as over-the-road truckers; the only state they had not been to was Alaska. She loved plants and flowers, and could bring any plant back to life. She was a member of the Community of Christ in Marseilles.

She is survived by her mother; her husband Jon of 36 years; her favorite cats, Forrest and Bubba; four siblings, Timothy (Johnna) Woods of Terre Haute IN, Brian (Deb) Woods of Utica, Susan Woods-Bristol of Ottawa, and Mike (Jody) Woods of Ottawa; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, and her father-in-law.
