OTTAWA -- Kyle P. Lowe, 24, of Ottawa, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, at Rockford Memorial Hospital due to injuries received in a motorcycle accident. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St.Francis of Assisi Church with the Rev. Gerald Meyer officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 3:30 p.m. Kyle was born May 13, 1983, in Ottawa, to Kevin L. and Kelli (Smith) Lowe. He was a pipefitter for Local 597. He is survived by his father, Kevin L. (Deborah Markut) of Ottawa; his mother, Kelli Flemings of Tulsa, Okla.; his loving family, Peach, Lisa, Michael Jr., Meaghan and Mark Martin of Ottawa; two sisters, Amanda and Kelsey Bishop of Rockford; two brothers, Mathew Lewis of Riptun, Wis., and Kirk Fleming of Tulsa; two uncles, Kurt Lowe of Ottawa and Keith (Cheryl) Lowe of Tennessee; four aunts, Michelle Dietman of Pontiac, Renee (Jeff) Janssen of Florida, Andrea Weakley of Ottawa and Carrie Ratzloff; and 15 cousins, Tim, Kris, Emily and Erica Weakley of Ottawa, Michael Lowe of Oklahoma, Michael and Jeff Smith and Wendy Gray of Florida, Clint Redd of Texas, Ben Swift of Ottawa, Kate Jaegle of Grand Ridge, Jeff and Larry Nelson of Tennessee and Eric and Danny Ratzloff. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Pallbearers will be Michael Martin Jr., Glenn Manning, Jacob McCullough, A.J. Elder, Steve Schaefer, Brian Sesto, Ryan Speirer and Charlie Eisert. Honorary pallbearers will be Peach Martin, Eddie Martin III, Mike Lowe, Mike Smith, Jeff Lowe, Kris Weakley, Bobby Jackson and Eddie Martin IV.
