Kim Dyer

Kim Dyer, 54, of Ottawa, IL, died, Sunday, May 29, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Memorial Services at 6:00 pm on Thursday, with Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursday at Ottawa Funeral Home, With Military Services to follow. Kim was born June 11, 1956 in Tonica, IL. to Carl and Jean (Grandon) Dyer. He married Joanne Farrell on October 18, 1985 in Ottawa, IL. Kim served in the US Army from 1976 to 1980. He had worked for Nussbaum Trucking for 10 Years. He was a member of American Legion Post 33 the Ottawa YMCA and Dayton Ridge Golf Club. He is survived by his wife; his father Carl Dyer of Oglesby, three sons Kim (Brittany) Dyer of Venice FL. Richard (Crystal) Farrell and Joseph (Bethany) Dyer both of Ottawa and one daughter Vicky (Roger)Lange of Oakwood, IL. six grandchildren. One brother Jim (Connie) Dyer of Oglesby and his mother-in-law Virginia Farrell of Ottawa. He was preceded in death by his mother one brother Carl Dyer, his father and brother-in-laws Eugene and Walter Farrell. Honorary Pallbearers Don Comer, Billy Joyce, Gary and David Farrell Memorials may be directed to the family.
