Ken Weishaar

Kenneth R. Weishaar, 64, of Streator passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at his home. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 pm Monday, March 13, 2017 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, prior to services, Monday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following services. Kenneth was born December 29, 1952 in Evanston, Illinois to Norbert and Rosemary (Roeder) Weishaar. He worked for Vactor Manufacturing in Streator for 25 years. Ken had a passion for NASCAR and motor sports. He enjoyed playing a round of golf and spending time with his loving children, family, and friends. He is survived by his children, Kayla Weishaar and Jarrod Weishaar; two siblings, Frances (Charles) Ogden and Katherine (Jerald) Loy; his beloved dog, Micki; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Richard Weishaar. Memorials may be directed to his family.
