Keith G. Stehl, Sr.

Keith G. Stehl, Sr., 69, of Ottawa passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Edward Hines, Jr., VA Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be from 2 to 5 pm, Sunday, December 23 at Ottawa Funeral Home.

Keith was born July 5, 1949 in Ottawa to Fred and Lorena (Weygandt) Stehl. He married Susie Wheeler January 13, 1968 at the Marseilles Methodist Church. Keith was a proud member of the United States Army, serving from 1969 to 1971. He worked at Libby Owens Ford, then he and his wife bought and operated Senate Billiards in 1993, until the time he retired in July, 2018. He enjoyed golfing, kayaking, and taking motorcycle trips across the country.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Susie; two sons, Keith Jr. (Erin) and Todd (Jodi); five grandchildren, Devan, Nick, Tatumn, Ryleigh, and Tawnee; his brother, Fred (Ellen) Stehl; and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Jude (Stehl) Mefford and Nora (Stehl) Hawk.
