Kay Mason

Kay Mason, 91, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at Pleasant View in Ottawa. Graveside Services were held Thursday, July 3, 2014 at St. Columba Cemetery with Rev. Tony Fevlo officiating. Kay was born September 29, 1922, in Chicago, Illinois, to Daniel and Bernardine (Rooney) Gallagher. She married Robert W. Mason on June 23, 1951, in Chicago. He preceded her in death. She is survived by her to children, Kathy (Michael) Clair of Ottawa and John (Laurie) Mason of Goodyear, AZ; five grandchildren, Megan (Matthew) Clair-Femrite, Kevin Clair, Katherine Mason, Leigh Ann Mason, and Alison Mason; and one great grandchild, John Robert Mason. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Mason and her parents. Memorials may be directed to the Reddrick Library or to Alzheimer's Foundation.
