Kathy (Blue) Smart

Kathy Smart, 68, of Sandwich, formerly of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at her home.

Due to COVID restrictions, private family services will be held. She will be buried at Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Ottawa Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Kathy was born August 4, 1952 in Naplate to Daniel and Betty (Kolatka) Blue, Sr. She married Bill Smart on March 20, 1971 at St. Mary's Church in Naplate. Kathy loved playing bunco with the girls and traveling abroad with her husband. Kathy's true love in life was spending time with her boys.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bill; son, Shane Smart; grandson, Brody; and two brothers, Daniel (Lauree) Blue, Jr. and Brad (Patty) Blue. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Ryan.
