Kathryn M. Nink

Kathryn M. Nink, 97, of Ottawa, Il passed away Wednesday April 21, 2010 at Heritage Manor in Streator, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday April 26, 2010 at St. Columba Church with the Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be 3-5 PM Sunday, April 25, 2010, Monday April 21, at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Kathryn was born July 5, 1912 in Ottawa, Illinois to Martin and Nellie (Tully) Nink. She owned and operated Anne's Hat Shop for many years, after which she worked at Carson Department Store and retired after 17 years of service in sales. She was a member of St. Columba Church, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Ottawa Women's Club, AARP, Legion of Mary, Business and Professional Women (BPW), Altar and Rosary Society and was a Charter Member. Kathryn is survived by many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by three brothers, Martin E. Nink, C. Raymond Nink Sr. and John V. Nink; and two sisters, Anne Shea and Louise Schaller. Pallbearers will be Martin Schaller, John Paduzzi, Richard Mossman, Edward Shea, Charles Nink, and Raymond Phillis. Memorials may be directed to St. Columba Church.
