Kathryn Lee Corcoran

Kathryn Lee Corcoran, 67, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023 at her home.

Visitation will be Saturday July 29, 2023 from 9:00 until 11:00am at Ottawa Funeral Home. A funeral ceremony will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery.

Kathryn was born January 4, 1956, in Triumph, IL, to John "Jack" and Anna (Reisinger) Pfeiffer. She married Kevin Corcoran on April 16, 1977 at St. Columba Church in Ottawa. He passed away November 1, 2020.

She attended Triumph Grade School and Mendota High School. She started working at the Curl Inn in Triumph, where she met the love of her life, Kevin Corcoran. She also worked as a lunch lady at St. Columba grade school while her sons were in school. Most recently she worked at Handy Foods where she made many lasting friendships. She was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed taking trips with her family and traveled a lot with her husband. She helped carry on the family farm with her husband and two sons. She loved living on the farm and especially liked when they raised the livestock. But more than anything, she adored her grandchildren. They were the highlight of her life.

She is survived by her children, Jason (Velinda) Corcoran and Josh (Mary Jo) Corcoran; her grandchildren, Nevaeh, Delilah, Josie, and Luca; and her sister, Lori (John) Russel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her siblings, Allen Pfeiffer, Cindy Kittler, and Carrie Smith.

Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choosing.
