Kathleen Tuntland

Kathleen K. Tuntland, 57, of Rural Serena passed away June 27, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 Monday, July 2, 2012 at St. Patrick's Church with Rev. Joseph Donton officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 - 7:00 Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Ottawa Funeral Home. She will be buried in St. Columba Cemetery. Kathleen was born December 2, 1954 in Ottawa, Illinois to John and Edith (Read) Corcoran. She was a 1972 graduate of Marquette High School and a 1976 graduate of Illinois State. She married David Tuntland August 1, 1986. She was a business partner at Seattle Sutton Healthy Eating and manager of Pizza Hut in Ottawa. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church. She enjoyed farming with Dave, gardening, and volunteering for both Habitat for Humanity and Labor of Love. She is survived by her husband, Dave; three daughters, Shelley of Bloomington, Erin, and Jennifer both at home; three sisters, Lynne (Alan) Weber of Princeton, Janis (Jim) Bartel of Westmont, and Debra (Rick) Porth of Streamwood; and two brothers, James (Alice) Corcoran of Downers Grove and William Corcoran of Bloomington. She is preceded in death by her parents. Pallbearers will be Ryan and Brandon Porth, Shane, Connor, Matthew, Miles, and Neil Corcoran.
