Karen Johnson

Karen Johnson, 80, of Henry, IL, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023 at Lacon Rehab & Nursing.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 10, at St Columba Cemetery. Cremation rites have been accorded to Ottawa Funeral Home.

Karen was born March 31, 1942, in Ottawa, IL, to Francis "Fritz" and Rita (Schwamberger) Graham. She married James Johnson on June 5, 1966. He passed away July 6, 2017.

She worked as a pediatric nurse for St. Mary's Hospital in Streator for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to hunt and would fish at Little Pine and Lake Ida in Alexandria, MN. She was a member of the Golden Wheel Motorcycle Club in Princeton.

She is survived by her children, Christine Pavlik and Jayme (Salina) Johnson; her grandchildren, Kennedy Rainey, Myles Koenig, Evan Grice, and Mackenzie and Cole Johnson; and her sister, Mary Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her siblings, Michael, Dennis, Lorin, and David Graham.
