Karen Hicks

Karen Hicks, 61, of Seneca passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 at her home. Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Mount Hope Cemetery with Pastor Kris Zierke officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Karen was born July 7, 1954 in Ottawa, Illinois to Robert and Eleanor (Erickson) Stubblefield. She previously worked for Caterpillar and delivered mail for the US Post Office. She loved going to the casino, taking care of her flower garden, and doing art and craft projects. She is survived by three children, David (Courtney) Hicks, Ian Hicks, and Mary (Dave) Young; one grandson, Gabe Hicks; four siblings, Terri Stubblefield, Robert (Jean) Stubblefield, Richard (JoAnn) Stubblefield, and Jack Stubblefield; and her furry friend, Lily. She is preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be directed to her family.
