Jurene S Stalker

Jurene S. Stalker, 72, of Ottawa, IL passed away April 9, 2010 at her home. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday April 14, 2010 with the Rev. Edward Strom officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Tuesday April 13. Burial will be in Freedom Lutheran Cemetery. Jurene was born November 17, 1937 in Freedom Township to Thomas and Nettie (Ryg) Foss. She married Jim Stalker February 14, 1957 in Ottawa, Il. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and VFW. She is survived by her husband, Jim; one daughter, Janeen (Jim) Rick of Ottawa; three sons, Jim Jr. (Dee), Jeff (Gaylene) and Jon (Vicki) Stalker, all of Ottawa; thirteen grandchildren, Justin (Brooke) and Jor die Rick, Bill, Kim, and Nicole Stalker, T.J. (Lindsey), Atlee, Marisa, Paige, and Sydnee Stalker, Amber Eiben, Amy (P.D.) Partridge, and Andrew Dunn; four great grandchildren, Dylan Stalker, Kealey Rick, Jerrick Meagher and Carson Partridge; and one sister, SeVerne Burke of Ottawa. Jurene is preceded in death by one daughter, Jerilyn Stalker; two brothers, Kenneth and Norman Foss; and a sister in infancy, Madelyn Foss. Pallbearers will be Justin Rick, Bill, T.J. and Atlee Stalker, Andrew Dunn, and Tim Burke. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters. Memorials may be directed to the family.
