Joyce Oldenburg

Joyce Oldenburg, 86, of Ottawa passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Ottawa Pavilion. Funeral Ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, August 31, 2015 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Johnson officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm Monday prior to services at Ottawa Funeral Home. She will be buried in Mount Hope Cemetery in Seneca. Joyce was born August 17, 1929 in Brookfield Township and was raised by her mother Hazel Spaulding. Joyce was a thoughtful person with a good heart and loved everyone the same. She had a special place in her heart for animals, enjoyed playing bingo, and was an amazing cook. She is survived by her four children, Kala (Will) Tongate, Karen (John) Walton, Dawn Oldenburg, and Jeff (Andrea) Oldenburg; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
