Josh Hoffman

Josh Hoffman, 31, of LaSalle, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at his home. Memorial Service for Josh will be at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2013, at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Josh was born December 22, 1981, in Princeton, Illinois, to Gary and Wendy (Jerde) Hoffman. He married Nichole Mardino. He worked at Caterpillar, was a member of UAW 145, and enjoyed playing softball. He is survived by his wife, Nichole; two children, Isaac and Eli; his parents, Gary and Wendy Hoffman of Ottawa; one sister, Megan (James) Markey of Ottawa; nieces and nephew, Isabella, Savannah, and Jack; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Theresa and Richard Mardino of New York. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Donald and Louise Jerde and Bill and Gwendolyn Hoffman. Memorials may be directed to the family.
