Joseph Kelly

Joseph Kelly, 82, of Ottawa, died Sunday December 16, 2007 at LaSalle County Nursing Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am Friday December 21 at St. Columba Church with the Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Burial wil be in St. Columba Cemetery with military services. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Thursday December 20 at Ottawa Funeral Home with prayers at 4:00 pm. Mr. Kelly was born November 2, 1925 in Chicago to Joseph J. and Loretta (Marco) Kelly. He married Pauline Thomas on October 23, 1944 in Princeton. He served in the Army during WWII for the 61st infantry. He was a brick mason for Local 6. He was a member of St. Columba Church, American Legion and the Bricklayers Union for 60 years. He is survived by his wife; three daughters; two sons; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David Jr. and Chris Peterson, Kevin Crain, Wesley and Luke Mitchell and Daniel and Joseph Kelly. Memorials may be directed to the family.
