Mr. Joseph E. Einhaus, Sr. "Duke", 76, of Seneca, Illinois passed away July 2, 2012 at Walnut Grove Village in Morris, Illinois. There will be no visitation or service by Joe's request. Burial will be private at a later date with cremation rites at his request. Osborne-Nelson Funeral Home in Seneca, Illinois is in charge of arrangements. Joe was born October 10, 1935 in Seneca, Illinois to the late John and Loretta (Schomas) Einhaus of Seneca, Illinois. Joe was a veteran of the United States Army, having served three years in Germany from 1954 - 1957. He graduated from Seneca Township High School class of 1953. He was retired from AluMax plant of Morris, Illinois. Surviving are three daughters, Cathleen (Gary) Lowery, Elizabeth (Thomas) Torres, and Erica Einhaus all of Morris; two sons, Joseph (Patricia) Einhaus, Jr. of Seneca and Stephen (Amy) Einhaus of Madison, WI; ten grandchildren, Tami Lowery (Tyson) Kline of Marseilles, Amy (Jerry) Snyder of Mazon, David Lowery of Morris, David and Marissa and Dylan Einhaus of Seneca, Jake and Sarah Torres of Morris, Lauren and Elle Einhaus of Madison, WI; three great grandchildren, Kaitlin and Tyler Kline of Marseilles and Grady Snyder of Mazon.; two sisters, Susan Wiersema of Traverse City, MI and Dorothy Ray of South Bend, IN; one brother, Jerome (Karen) Einhaus of Seneca; a close friend, Mary Davidson of Morris; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Loretta Einhaus; four brothers, John, James, Thomas, and David Einhaus; two sisters, Margaret Einhaus Collins and Mary Lou Einhaus Koch.
