Joseph Diaz

Joseph I. Diaz, 49, of Ottawa died Wednesday May 28, 2008 at his home. A Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 AM Saturday May 31, 2008 at St. Patrick's Church, Ottawa with the Rev. Philip Halfacre officiating. Mr. Diaz was born December 20, 1958 in Joliet to I. Joseph and Judy (O'Keefe) Diaz. He married Sheila Nagle July 2, 1986 at St. Patrick's Church. He retired from Operating Engineer's Local 151 after 15 years. He was a member of Ottawa's Oddfellow's Club. Joseph is survived by his wife Sheila, his parents Joseph Diaz of Peoria and Judy Diaz of Ottawa; three daughters Courtney Diaz of LaSalle, Aubree Charbonneau and Claire Diaz both of Ottawa; one sister Kristal Diaz of Ottawa and two brothers Alphanso (Nicole) Diaz of Plano and Tim (Belinda) Diaz of Ottawa. He was preceded in death by grandparents William and Josephine O'Keefe and Alphonso and Dolores (Herrera) Diaz.
