Jose Aaron Ochoa

Jose Aaron Ochoa, 24, of Ottawa passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Loyola University Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi with Rev. Tony Felvo officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 - 12:30 prior to Mass on Wednesday at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Jose was born September 17, 1991 in Geneva, Illinois to Salvador and Martha (Torres) Ochoa. He was a 2010 graduate of Ottawa High School, was the class president, and was the valedictorian. He majored in Theatrical Arts at Northern Illinois University and graduated in 2014. Jose loved to perform in plays and dress the part. In high school he attended and participated in many events which included the fine arts festival. He is survived by his parents; five brothers, Jonathan Ochoa, Juan C. Ochoa, Jullian Ochoa, Salvador Ochoa Jr., and Rafael A. Ochoa; his paternal grandparents, Rafael (Maria) Ochoa, maternal grandmother, Herelinda Arreola; and one niece, Gabriela Ochoa. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ruven Torres. Memorial donations may be directed to his family.
