John Tershowski Jr., 63, of Clearwater Florida, formerly of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Friday, June 24, 2011, in Florida. Funeral Service will be 1:30 pm Friday, July 1, 2011 at Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be 12:30 - 1:30 PM one hour before services at Oakwood Memorial Park. Entombment will be in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum at Oakwood Memorial Park. John Gary Tershowski, He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Margaret A. Tershowski; daughter Kaia Anna Tershowski of Bellaire Beach; step-son Chad Eugene Willis and his wife Aimee of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Miles & Graham Willis; sister Kathy Tershowski of Tempe, AZ & brother Tim Tershowski of Ottawa, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents. John was born in Ottawa, IL and graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biological Science after which he attended pharmacy school in Boulder, CO. John & Margaret were married at Starved Rock Lodge in Ottawa, IL. John was a full time residential realtor here in the Tampa Bay, Florida area for 33 years. He was a member of the Navigators at St. Brendan's Church in Clearwater and also was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Tampa, Florida. John's family would like to extend their thanks to the caring staff at Suncoast Hospice House Brookside in Palm Harbor. He surpassed the expectation of others, he gave till it hurt, he loved unconditionally and lived a life of respect with God as his guide. Heaven is much more blessed today!
