John Padilla

John "JP" Padilla, 62, of Ottawa passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Rev. David Kipfer officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 am to 10:00 am Saturday prior to services at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. John was born July 5, 1952 in Rancho De Canoas, Qto Mexico to Jess and Josephine (Ramirez) Padilla. He was a member of St. Columba Church and Laborer's Local Union #393. He is survived by his two children, Jason Padilla and Jamie Habben; one grandson, Lucas Habben; his mother, Josephine Padilla; and one brother, Robert Padilla. He is preceded in death by his father; and one sister, JoAnne Padilla. Memorials may be directed to his family.
